SONGWRITING OPPORTUNITIES
|
The rewards of winning songwriting and
lyric writing competitions can be quite
substantial. Naturally, the cash prizes
will vary amongst all of the current
songwriting competitions, and will also
depend on factors such as promotion,
the number of entries and the entry fee.
Some of the larger songwriting contests
are able to offer larger prizes, while some
of the small ones may not. Sponsorship
plays a large role as well, as songwriting
and lyric writing competitions with
national corporate sponsors can afford to
offer significantly bigger prizes.

Contest Directory, here are my choices

Win up to $25,000.00 in Cash Prizes For Your Songs and Lyrics
Enter Your Songs & Lyrics in
the Category that Gives You
the Best Chances of Winning
Each of the songwriting and lyric
competitions listed in The 2013
Songwriting and Lyric Contest
Directory have their own unique
rules and regulations, and most
will ask you to select the category
for the song or lyric that you enter.
This is important, as it determines
which other songs and lyrics will
be judged against yours. So if you
wrote a song or lyric that you feel
could be a hit in the pop, rock
and country markets, you'll need
to decide which market your song
would be best suited to, and then
enter it in the category that will
give it the best chance of winning.
